The Tree of Life is a beautiful, bespoke tree designed and created by Jason Sweeney, commissioned by LOROS Hospice in Leicester and funded by donation from the Ian and Clare Mattioli Charitable Trust. ​

 

The Tree of Life is made of hand beaten and welded stainless steel, stands almost 5m tall and spans a width of over 5m with graceful arching branches created to carry over 1500 leaves. The leaves provide a sustainable form of fundraising for the Hospice as they are purchased and engraved to commemorate or celebrate people and special events.​

The tree took Jason many many hours, weeks and months to create.
