Fochabers, Speyside.

The Highlanders Memorial is a tribute to those who served in the Regiment prior to their amalgamation into the the Royal Regiment of Scotland in 2006.

Commissioned by The Highlanders Regimental Trust, the memorial is sited at Fochabers, on Speyside, Moray and can be seen from the A96.

The Memorial sculpture is based on the regimental cap badge which features a stags head, thistle and crown.

"Although the brief was to remain faithful to the original  cap badge, I took a little artistic license with the portrayal of the stag. I wanted to embody the personal and professional commitment of the Highlanders and their pride in their Regiment."
